First day back at work after a week off and saw plenty of #mushrooms on my walk there :3
I did see more than in the pictures, but sadly a lot had been caught by a lawnmower/strimmer so were rather destroyed :c

Now the weather is getting cool and wet, I've been seeing a few more #mushrooms on my walks, was interesting seeing these two!

Spotted an ABUNDANCE of #mushrooms today on my walk to work.
I had seen something in this patch a few days ago, but presumed they were rocks on the dirt. So many hidden in the foliage!

Spotted some more #mushrooms today on my way to work ^^ quite a few in this area just starting to burst through the ground.

Will keep having a look on more walks as the weather cools and gets more damp, shall keep an eye out in a few local fields to see if I can spot some Giant Puffballs :3

Trying to get back into walking for at least 30-60 minutes a day again and decided to go on a #mushroom hunting walk. I wasn't disappointed! ^^

Was quite relaxing for a few hours just tuning out to do this. My favourite is definitely the red, yellow and orange mini canvas.

While I can't draw things very well freehand, I do enjoy making geometric patterns, Spirograph is so underrated as an art tool!

And while I'm still hyper focused on getting images from weather satellites, I caught a pass of #NOAA-19 this morning, a daylight pass finally!
I recorded 15 minutes, unfortunately due to my house and a neighbours house, the most northern and southern parts were unusable.
Still, progress!

And while I'm still hyper focused on getting images from weather satellites, I caught a pass of #NOAA-19 this morning, a daylight pass finally!
I recorded 15 minutes, unfortunately due to my house and a neighbours house, the most northern and southern parts were unusable.

Managed to get another #NOAA-18 pass tonight as well as figure out the right stuff on the decoder to have a map overlay.
Sadly missed about 2/3 of the pass due to misaligning the antenna, as well as buildings blocking the sky.
But still, I'm learning and having fun!

Here's the set up, and the picture I got. For a first attempt I'm pretty happy with the results.
I have got an RTL-SDR, but I don't want to lug my computer to the garden to use that, so the cheap handheld radio was pretty good ^^

I'm actually pretty chuffed with the results by just recording the audio with my phone from the radios speaker.
