News of my week : I interviewed for and got an art scholarship, learned more about navigating my new academic life at MC, found a few friends, got some extra help and reassurance for my intense math anxieties, explored the library and even checked out a few books! College life has been kind.

It was a full weekend from graduation to a long awaited massage at Serenity in the Grove yesterday to date night with Zen to The Yule Heathen Trade Fair today in Grove Center to an adventure into east Knoxville tonight getting a special present for the family!I'm exhausted! Gnite all!

This semester has turned out to be about portrait studies in painting. This is a copy of a Masterwork by contemporary artist Jenny Saville. I learned so much while working with it. I'm really proud of it and am now a big fan of her work. I feel very fortunate to be learning about living artists.

I can finally share her now! I got an A on the History project and then presented her to Calamitys Coffee in Oak Ridge. This was an incredibly meaningful piece for me, and I'm so happy she's in good home!❤️
