someone should file a permit for a long running protest for 1 block around the Federal building and just shut down all traffic in and/out. Maybe CPD cooperates if they can passively do so.

That's the rub isn't it? But the 1st amendment is one of the few things this country gets 100% correct. And it's absolutely a right in this country for any person or group to purchase ad time.
