I suffer from similar thoughts. Running a bunch of FitD and PbtA games has loosened me up a lot on that, but it’s still there, nestled snugly next to my Church of England upbringing.

I did notice the presenters immediately moved on to the next item after the spot finished. They normally banter a bit about stuff after it runs. On this? Zip.

I spent my 20s working in and eventually managing pubs and I can categorically state that unless you’re a well-known local nut job with a rep for violence, no pub in the world will turn you away

Definitely avowed. You could actually pick very minimal mushroom facial features and NPCs would still talk about how mushrooms you were.
