I was pre-writing chapter 10 of my novel this morning and just bawling as I wrote. It's a sad chapter. My husband knows what it's about, so I went out and said "look what this did to me" and after he realized what i was talking about he had to laugh. No more pre writing before work 🤣

I'm excited once more about my continued path forward. My fantasy world continues to grow and develop. My main character started nudging me again today. I had spent two weeks not feeling inspired, and it worried me, but she's back and ready to continue searching for the truth. Yay!

I feel just mentally exhausted by everything that's been happening. I need just a small bit of good news. Share something good with me.

Teaching ESL all weekend from our airbnb in Ecuador. Hopefully Monday I'll be able to get at least another chapter of my YA/high fantasy novel written. My characters are hopping into my dreams now telling me what's next.
