I procrastinated so much today, but manage to write some lore

But I forgot to show some bestiary stuff so... I present to you The Author's Barely Disguised Fetishes: Goo and Vore!
OTHERING SLIME. Few creatures make gnolls more disturbed than this slime. A fungus-like gooey substance that searches for hosts to better survive is seen as insidious parasites by the gnolls. They fear and hate this slime that spreads and takes away their tribemates, often fighting it with fire whenever they see it. The most common place the slime hides are in caves and near oases. Most gnolls either consider those places lost to the slime or actively try to “cleanse” from it. However, the slime only seeks hosts in order to improve the odds of survival of it and the host. Hives, however, do bear intent. Some have the purpose of spreading as much as possible, other hives seek domination over other species, while others only seek mutually beneficial relationships. Gnolls, and individuals of any species, that end up isolated, or isolate themselves for feeling ostracized, are a perfect opportunity for slime to find a suitable, and often willing, host. GIANT WORM. Originally from the great sand desert, these giant worms frequently go south to the less dry areas to feed before going back to procreate. These giant creatures hunt down careless prey that makes into their territory, swallowing it whole. Anthro tribes mark these worm’s territory carefully and make sure the knowledge about it is kept in oral stories about entire tribes being eaten by even bigger versions of these creatures. Some tribes see them with reverence, paying respects to these creatures, others see them as draconic monsters to be avoided, creating routes around the creature’s territory or making a dance-like walking style to avoid detection. Whenever the case, even the most confrontation and starving tribes avoid fighting or hunting these beasts, since even if killed their meat tastes terrible.

Drafted the tribe building, taking some inspiration of Mutant Year Zero but still gotta define the gameplay loop for this (also don't expect this to be playtested for a while lol)
7 - YOUR TRIBE. A tribe is a family, or conglomeration of families, that sticks together in order to survive. Often a tribe is composed of only gnolls, but tribes composed of several different species also exist, and it’s common for gnolls to accept other species inside their fold, though they aren’t always treated well. TRIBE BUILDING. Similarly to a character, the tribe has a sheet that represents them. The tribe has 5 traits, described below. ✦ Culture: Social behavior and norms. ✦ Population: How many members are alive on the tribe. ✦ Power: The fighting abilities of the average tribemate. ✦ Spirituality: The connection to magic, the mystical forces of the universe, and the unseen world. ✦ Technology: The knowledge applied in physical and practical ways that don’t involve magic, only mundane forces. Each goes 0 to 5. To update it, you make a project, rolling relevant skills and accumulating successes (5x per next level, 0>1 5 succ, 1>2 10 succ, etc). Each roll is a Shift (5 to 10 hours).

Maybe not finished for the day, but here are some previews of the classes (may revise stuff later)
BRUTE. The Brute is the muscle. When you need force to move something heavy, brutality to take down a powerful prey, or a living wall to protect your allies, you go to a Brute. Often they are the biggest and strongest of the tribe, though their personalities vary a lot, from gentle giants, to bloodthirsty fighters, even to a calm and collected person that only uses force when absolutely necessary. One thing they all have in common: They are the arms that protect the tribe. Gnolls that are Brutes often are bigger or have more robust builds. Brutes with leaner build do exist, and even if they aren’t as common, they are equally as brutal. Although it is very common for Brutes to be in positions of leadership, it is as common to find those that prefer to lend their strength to others. Key Attribute: Strength. Key Skills: Force and choose 2, at least one being: Melee, Stamina. Specialties: Body Guard, Hard Hitter, Menacing. HUNTER. The Hunter is the tracker and trailblazer. They are on the forefront of the hunts, guiding the hunting groups towards prey and away from danger. They are also the ones that escort the tribe to new locations when it’s time to find a new place to stay. Fast, precise, and deadly they are always there for the tribe but not always seen. Their personalities vary from more silent reserved types to loud types that revel and gloat on the thrill of the hunt. What they all have in common, however, is that they are the fangs of the tribe. Oftentimes Hunter Gnolls have an athletic build, though Hunters with other body shapes exist and display the same uncanny agility. Hunters are seen leading hunting groups just as often as they are seen taking care of younglings and other vulnerable members of the tribe. For them, the hunt serves a purpose, both practical and spiritual, and that purpose is for those that they help feed. Even if sometimes the thrill for the hunt is also present. Key Attribute: Agility. Key Skills: Mobility and choose 2, at least one being: Stealth, Survival. Specialties: Fast Reflexes, Flyweight, Killer. CRAFTER. The Crafter is the inventor and main tool maker. They are the ones that create new tools and improve existing tools for survival. From advancing stone sharpening techniques, making baskets, to creating bow and arrow, the Crafters are always looking to improve the lives of the tribe. Oftentimes, Gnoll Crafters are eccentric, with minds that few understand. They might have a chaotic creation process or a meticulous process of trial and error. One thing, however, they all have in common is that they are the brains of the tribe. Not all technology developed by Crafters are material tools. Keeping track of seasons, improving hunting strategies, learning to differentiate poisonous from edible food, special concoctions, exotic food recipes, and passing on techniques to purify water and food without the need for magic. Alongside Spiritualists, the Crafters create and perpetuate the tribe’s knowledge through oral tradition. For them, the future is as important as the present and the past, sometimes even more so. Key Attribute: Wits. Key Skills: Crafting and choose 2, at least one being: Marksmanship, Observation. Specialties: Inquisitive, Sniper, Weapon Specialist. SPIRITUALIST. The spiritualist is the bridge between the seen and unseen. They are the ones that commune with spirits at any time, understanding the hidden nature of the world and helping the being of spirit and flesh come to an understanding. They are the ones that understand and manipulate magic the most, wielding the forces of nature like a Brute wields a club or a Hunter wields a spear. Oftentimes Spiritualists are odd, maybe because of their understanding of weird and esoteric knowledge, becoming empathic healers that love to help, or cackling necromancers that dance with the dead. One thing that all of them have in common is that they are the heart of the tribe. Although the use of magic isn’t limited by Spiritualists, they master it like no one else. They have a long oral tradition of passing down the tribe’s disciplines, along with stories of great and powerful Spiritualists that used to command storms, the earth and the heavens. Many Gnolls are born to be Spiritualists, having been chosen by fate or the spirits, but there are others that learned the craft out of necessity or as a personal goal. Sometimes Spiritualists take the role of leadership in a tribe, which is, or becomes, very attuned with their spiritual side. Almost always, if not in the role of leadership, they are advisors and their words are seen with heavy importance. Key Attribute: Empathy. Key Skills: Healing and choose 2, at least one being: Insight, Persuasion. Specialties: Field Surgeon, Musician, one magical specialty of your choice.

Ok, finished 3/4 archetypes, only one left is spiritualist, which should actually the easiest
Also did the first paragraph describing the world, and I think I cooked, if I do say so myself
8 - THE WORLD. This is a world full of magic, not always visible, often hidden with its influence subtly changing the course of rivers and the blowing of the wind. This is a world of giants, where smaller creatures fight everyday to simply survive while the titanic creatures compete with each other for food and power. This is a world of spirits, where every rock, every tree, and every mountain has a soul that is as alive as any living creature. This is the world before civilizations, before writing, and before the counting of days. This is the world of Age Zero.

First day of Gnollvember and thanks to the power of SRD the mechanics are almost completely done, I'm doing on the Year Zero Engine so the SRD really helps
I do wanna share what I'm most proud of: Hyenas = Stinky, me = big brain
STRONG SMELL. You exhume a stronger than average smell. As a fast action you can spend WP to exhume your smell, giving a bonus to Persuade rolls to seduce Gnolls and intimidate non-Gnolls. For each WP spent you gain +1 bonus, to a maximum of +3 dice.

Ok, what I've been thinking is a way to have 2 pairs instead, making the silhouette less loaded
So one pair is more draconic going from the side to the back, it's also more flat
The other pair is ram-like and goes from the back to the front and is more voluminous and round

Working on the sprites for the visual novel again
Fortunately, Detective Hölzer has like, 2 sprites and I will probably mirror them lol
Anyways, it's actually fun to work on this again, specially drawing while watching videos instead of playing games
