For extra information: Ember is an optional plug-in.

Here's the TOC when signing up for the beta. On the main page, they said that Ember will not store user submitted data and will not go into training AI models.

Even then, I share similar concerns on Toon Boom's future.

I looked into it and these are optional add-on tools for Storyboard Pro 25 and Harmony 25, made with the intent to help speed up workflow.

The assets for your project is not going to train AI models so your stuff is safe, though I can understand why it's not appealing.
