If silksong didn't have such incredible movement, exploration, music, etc. then I would be saying the same shit about hollow knight to hk:silksong.

Or if silksong had early access where gameplay/movement wasn't as tight then maybe I would feel the same towards it as I do towards hades 2.

I've had the game this whole time and haven't even wanted to go back to it once. I think they hit something truly special with the first one and not enough changes (at the time of me playing early access) for me to care. Sucks cause I LOVED the og, but now I feel jaded and uninterested.

I don't know why I'm vocal about things that get positive praise when I dislike it lol but I will say I did see the superman movie and it was so much better than I ever would have thought. Actually made me interested in the future of DC which I NEVER saw happening.

There's 2 plots, one feels authentic and built upon while the other just exists. There's even a third subplot that barely matters. They do a terrible job merging these plots. Honestly if they didn't go for vampires, the main plot would have been genuinely interesting to know more about.

If you didn't feel this way at some point during your skating venture, that'd be even more concerning. Keep it up! Love watching the posts, it's motivating!

Ultimately I had a great time, but a few terrible puzzles and the times where rng was bad made it an incredibly frustrating experience. Can't help but feel sad that it's finally over, so it at least succeeded in that. 5/10 maybe a 6, if rng wasn't a thing it'd be a 8 possibly a 9.

I could rant and rave about how terrible the RNG makes the game. No, it's not fun doing random shit you've solved and done for the 80th day in a row. Completely disrespectful the players time.

That being said, I want more games to make me take as many notes as this game did. That was so much fun

The worst part is the RNG. It's fine when just vibing and exploring, you get what you get and do what you can. When you have a goal, it's a different story. Weeks go by without the ONE room you need, wasting actual hours of your life for no reason. This game being a rouguelike is fucking horrible
