How it returns to a more darker take on Zelda like OOT and Majoras Mask. And due to the popularity of the LOTR movies at the time, we did want to see a Hyrule that was more like Middle-Earth.

For me it's the game that got me into the series. While not my first Zelda game, it was the first one that really immersed me into the experience. Its story and characters are really special to me also. They showed me how well video games can tell stories and how they can connect to the player.
