#GoldenChainAU I shared in a tumblr ask a pic of the GC AU parents of Link and Zelda. I really invested myself in giving them actual families bc I've always felt orphanhood or subpar parenting is too prevalent in the franchise... And we gotta fix that! (Check alt text!) #LegendOfZelda #LoZ #ZeldaAU
Upper row: Alfie and Riju Geldoh-Farron, Link's parents. For him they are the best parents he could ask for, and an example of how a good, happy, and stable couple should be. Also, Link's got his mom's height and death stare! Lower row: King Daphnes Rhoam Hyrule and Amaya of the Sheikah, Queen Consort. Zelda admits despite his father being the entire circus a bit of a clown, he is an amazing dad, although a bit overprotective. Her mom is the best, always supportive, and she trusts she raised her daughter well (but uses more subdued overprotective mom tactics - she's a Sheikah, after all) The four of them love to drop "casually" on Dinsdays (Sundays) to check on their offspring (who probably are still being lazy or sleeping in Link's case lol).
