Haha ngl I’m totally judging you for posting a picture of yourself crying on the Internet, BUT I was planning to read this book, and now I REALLY want to read it based on your reaction!

I would use the “in between jobs” line in an interview, because they don’t need to know you have health issues (and unfortunately probably do not care in most cases!). Unless they ask for more detail about why. But anywhere else, I think that doesn’t really make sense to say!
