I don't think it's worth conflating mental illness with willful ignorance. I know it's hard to find the right words to describe such insane levels of willful ignorance, but imo we ought to avoid wording that clearly implies it's disabled peoples' (et. al) fault

* Being anecdotal, this is real but not generalizeable.

* I think if the US wasn't so ridiculously a two-party country, even they'd jump on alternatives. The conservative propaganda thrives when all they gotta do is convince people that one person or group is evil beyond measure.

All Okies regret is the signs of fascism that even they see now. They think he's a lot, but better than "liberals."
