There is something fun about setting up a fantasy setting with significant lore and history to it, and then reasonably throwing in some cyberpunks / post-apocalypse frontier justice types to just let loose their guns and tech against the antagonist's forces.

It is going to be so fun when I get my young adult MC into a city inspired by Night City. Just as I am currently writing said MC getting hope after their heart briefly stops, then getting absolutely emotionally decimated.

I really need to learn how to use grated ube intuitively. I miss ube cake so much.
Also wish I grew up learning tagalog instead of it just being relegated as a language around me that my mother also spoke. I didnt know what i would lose.

There are some scenes when I write that I really, *really,* want to see animated one day.
Like a person who's hurt to hell and back standing up, bleeding profusely, and just making a declaration that they're going to fight like hell in their state and does just that against a monstrous being.

It is outright disgusting and dehumanizing to reduce living struggles to memes or tier lists of all things. I shouldn't be so provoked, but there are new lines that are crossed that infuriate me.

I love the idea of a paranoid wall goblin in a cyberpunk universe. Who explored *everything* to stay safe and out of sight and has every evacuation and exit path in their head, able to improvise with precision in real time. Whose voice can be like that bird that imitates any noise.
