American businesses typically pay the tariff and then factor it into the cost of the item, it’s a convenience which also unfortunately gave that degree of separation that allowed non-business owners to believe the lie that tariffs are a “tax” that other countries pay.

It’s all good! I think it does illustrate we need real numbers for this, because it’s a difficult balancing act to communicate how dire this is and then not know what percentage of the community needs individualized help and what that financial sponsorship need is.

Where is this 90% number coming from? I’ve seen it a couple times with no source. It always seems to come up to discourage ANY trans person from thinking of a plan and never seems to focus on what we can do for those who cannot leave.

Anime isn’t a single art style or really even a genre, so they likely do mean all styles — but artists who vend do take into consideration if our style and subject matter would be appropriate for the event since it influences how well sales do and if it’s worth our time. :)

Some states already tried implementing civil unions as an alternative to civil marriage and it went as well as “separate but equal” could go.

One month for these customers to find an alternative seems short, hopefully these customers are able to use one of the alternative dial up providers listed in the article or can switch to satellite.

It feels like Microsoft acquiring LinkedIn was the start of the end for the platform, not to mention them then using these funds to go on go purchase Lynda and fold it into the inferior LinkedIn Learning product.
