So science has no limits? There is nothing it doesn't know.
Science tells you "the how" of human existence and nature but not "why". It is a guess. That is a big limitation.

Now you define modern. In the lifetime of earth Darwin and his ideas are a very small time. Also science though the earth was flat at one point...but was wrong.

I liked the word approximation better since the case of evolution it is a guess of what happened not actually what happened.

That was my point each time science is shown to be inaccurate it changes the theory and is right again. Only fools follow something that is made by mankind since mankind is fallible.

That is not what I said. The impact didn't cause the flood but it did kill much of life on earth, which brings evolution into question.

I think there is more to being a god than spraying water droplets in the air. The rainbow was a sign of the covenant God made with Noah. Nice to know you can remind people of God's promise with a water hose.
