Fun fact: I didn't use reference and the initial version of this had a way too big head on the "canon" lala.

I don't have high-level experience, but keeping up on runes on-level seems like a non-trivial cost to me.
You DO objectively get less out of that gold than martials, no? Seeing how usually you'll be attacking 0-1 times per turn vs a martial's more likely 1-2.
Not like you MUST keep up 100% tho

I don't have high-level experience, but keeping up on runes on-level seems like a non-trivial cost to me.

I think it would be fine if Strength and Dex both had some exclusive maneuvers (Grapple and Disarm respectively?)
But yeah, Dex melees feel a bit barren currently, maybe partially because switch hitting is a bit difficult in practice. Doesn't help that Dirty Trick requires a feat...
