This is me in line to pick up my Switch 2 preorder. I was maybe 200th in line.
Fun Fact: When I camped outside overnight at a Best Buy for the Wii, I was number 64 in line! And they had about 110 units in that launch batch. (I also worked at that Best Buy so I knew the secrets.)

After 26 years we’ve finally gotten another damn 3D DK game! It’s incredible it has taken this long, but the wait has been worth it.
Is anyone else crazy like me and break out the other games in a series when the new one comes out?

After 26 years we’ve finally gotten another damn 3D DK game! It’s incredible it has taken this long, but the wait has been worth it.

I just went to Retro Games Plus and visited my video game I created. They’ve sold three copies of it so far! Only two complete in box left. And check it out, it’s living right next to DK: King of Swing!

I just picked up my preorder for the Switch 2, and there must’ve been 300 people in the preorder line and 200 in the non-preorder line. Totally bonkers, stood in line for about 2.5 hours. But I got it!

I finally acquired Super Mario Odyssey & added it to the collection! I’ve been really enjoying it a lot. It does seem somewhat easier than its predecessors but maybe that’s okay. I love the world building, finally got to New Donk City & have been taking pictures with every DK street sign. Love it!

I’m playing Super Mario Odyssey for the first time, found a painting, warped through it, and I just came to the realization that the paintings in Super Mario 64 are probably painted by the same paint and brush that Bowser Jr. has in Super Mario Sunshine ☀️. Mind totally blown! 🤯

I played one round, caught Donkey Kong, then the machine broke, DK hanging by a claw. The worker came over, opened it & gave me my DK! Later that night I walked home past Big Ben.

I was recently going through my box o’ Nintendo goodies and pulled out some cool stuff.
It has everything from my Gameboy games to Nintendo 64 and GameCube pamphlets. Here is a cool one, a Burger King big kid’s meal toy pamphlet. As you can see the big guy, Donkey Kong, is front and center!
