This Charlie Kirk assassination is… complicated…

I won't talk 'bout myself in violence”

@mcuban.bsky.social I’m certainly not opposed to a third party- but does it have to be by teaming up with the guy who tried to destroy the federal government with the resulting death toll here in Texas at at least 80 dead? Plenty of other great third party people.

Its time to have a serious conversation about who we are.
On Protests, Violence, and Changing What We've Become
Look at what's happening in our country, this isn't who we are. It's time for a serious conversation before it gets worse.

“I forgive you” by Kelly Clarkson is the song we need to heed once the dust has settled. Whatever we do to fix all this shit, we need to make sure it doesn’t turn into a cycle of hate and oppression.

To be clear. This demonstrates that it was never about illegal immigration, drugs, or whatever other excuse can be conjured up. This was a legally immigrated green card soccer dad with no criminal history who happened to be Latino.
What we all just witnessed had all the earmarks of a criminal conspiracy to deprive Abrego-Garcia of his constitutional rights, as well as an impeachable offense. The fraud scheme was a phony agreement engineered by the US to have Bukele say he lacks power to return Abrego Garcia and he won't do it.

To be clear… there are 13 million + lgbtq people in the United States. When they go after other undesirables, they’re going to use the same logic. “There’s too many lgbtq people, we think they’re bad, and so, they don’t deserve due process.”

This. Is. Evil.

We live in this great big, beautiful world. Niagara Falls, Cape Town, the Himalayas, the Amazon - it’s a beautiful world. Yet we petty tribes of humans seek to destroy it while discovering new ways to be cruel to each other instead of enjoying this veritable paradise amongst the stars.

Dear President Trump,

Instead of destroying our federal workforce, the budget, our allies relationships, and the overarching world order, could you please focus on destroying a single thing?

Leave the rest alone please.

@maddow.msnbc.com does anyone know if FEMA is able to get to the wildfires in SC? Reports on Reddit are saying they can’t because of Doge’s credit card restrictions.

“It’s a bad day for infectious diseases,” said Dr. Ofer Levy, director of the precision vaccines program at Boston Children’s Hospital, who has advised the FDA on vaccines.”

This is incorrect… it’s the best day for infection diseases in a long time. But for the rest of us… not so much.

In case you missed it… this is the actual White House twitter account, reposting something Trump wrote about himself on truth social. “LONG LIVE THE KING”

This is quite literally what we revolted against, so that we would never again have anyone who fancied themselves a King ruling over our nation.

This purge is sick, it’s twisted, and it’s absolutely diabolically evil. One day we are going to look back at this era and ask why we didn’t stop the inevitable march towards committing atrocities when we had the chance as a nation.
