Moss beach tide pools

So this is the first stab at figuring out the size/technique,etc. I’ll start fixing the bees to the acrylic pane tomorrow. I think I’ll have to work larger and I might need more than one species of bee. Also want to make them 3D. This is a portrait of Bill Anderson, CEO of Bayer AG, killer of bees.

I am drying my bees. I will say that I have to clue what I’m doing…but I will tell you that chopsticks are invaluable when working with many bees of the less than alive variety.

Also saw a confusing but funny vanity plate.

Had a nice visit at the CNC in Ottawa and got a book on Beetles :)
