Your thoughts perhaps. As you haven't voiced any yet.

Like Hamas killed 1200 civilians you mean. Or perhaps you can justify that in some way?
November 23, 2024 at 10:45 PM
Insults? you haven't heard any from me. Are you just a bit upset that a centre left party was elected rather than a party lead by a Marxist?
November 23, 2024 at 10:42 PM
Who do you support? I suspect you are a disappointed Corbynista. The man who lost the red wall. Better to be a loser than be a party of a centre Government.
November 23, 2024 at 10:34 PM
We know it is Government failure and our restrictive planning laws but that doesn't solve the immediate problem. I was merely making a suggestion which might release a few more houses for young families. If more 1 bedroom flats were built then pensioners might be encouraged to move.

Done all the time, to say ," Something up with which I will not put" sounds pedantic.
November 23, 2024 at 9:16 PM
Thanks for the advice do you mean the English Language?

Child poverty has risen as well and there is lack of funding for Children's Social care as well as funding for schools. We would all like the UK to be in a position financially to remedy just those few things. But the money is not there, so I would prefer children to be our first priority.
November 23, 2024 at 9:09 PM
.Obviously a frustrated Corbynista. Corbyn and his Marxist clique very nearly destroyed the Labour Party. A far left party will never win an election in the UK, Labour is a Social Democratic party on the centre left and preferable to a right wing Conservative party in government.

This was a wicked and cynical move by Hamas as they knew Israel could not let that slaughter go unpunshed so they deliberately put civilians in Gaza in the firing line and then use civilian deaths as a propaganda ploy. Which unfortunately has proved successful as you have just proved.
November 23, 2024 at 8:41 PM
There is no genocide Hamas simply use civilians as shields and inevitably they are going to get hurt. They declared war on Israel and then retreated rapidly to place their arms dumps, rocket launchers and command posts in civilian areas, often schools and hospitals to ensure civilians would suffer.
November 23, 2024 at 8:41 PM
Can you actually refute any of those assertions. They are all true, Hamas is an acknowledged terrorist organisation. They should have allowed elections every 5 years after the 2007 one which they won by murdering over 700 of the Fatah opposition and intimidation, but they haven't allowed any.
November 23, 2024 at 12:57 PM
Well ask her why she will block anyone who supports Keir Starmer, she gave no reason
November 23, 2024 at 11:54 AM
Missing an apostrophe could be either. I stand corrected on "Gonna" as it is acceptable according to the OED. It may be fine in speech but looks out of place when written unless of course it is reported speech.
November 23, 2024 at 11:52 AM
Hamas committed genocide when it murdered 1200 Israelis including babies, they were civilians 200 were at a music festival and then they took over 200 hostages which is definitely a war crime. Hamas has as a policy the murder of all Jews, you just turn a blind eye to that.
November 23, 2024 at 11:40 AM
Really, but spelling I'm needed an apostrophe. Gonna may be acceptable to the OED but anyone who proffeses to write good English might not.
November 23, 2024 at 11:26 AM
I suggest you wait and see, I cannot imagine that the Social services will allow poor pensioners to face real hardship. Recall that WFA was not introduced till 1997 meant to be a temporary measure.
November 23, 2024 at 11:15 AM
I have never voted Tory in my life and I am 85 so don't make presumptions. I just hate to see the way the usage of English has detiorated.By the way
" I'm" has an apostrophe which was left out.
November 23, 2024 at 11:07 AM
So what is the answer? You cannot correct 14 years of decline under the Tories in 4 months. I suggest you give Keir Starmer time.
November 23, 2024 at 10:51 AM
The leavers were warned but believed the Daily Mail et al.
November 23, 2024 at 10:49 AM
Come up with a proper reasoned argument for whatever you opinion might be.
November 23, 2024 at 9:14 AM
They prefer the tax payer to subsidise them with a WFA which in many cases they do not need. I speak as a pensioner myself.
November 23, 2024 at 9:08 AM
They will still be eligible for it, but sensibly it will be means tested. Many pensioners live alone in mortgage free houses which cost a lot to heat they could sell their homes releasing it for a couple with children who are suffering because of a housing shortage.
November 23, 2024 at 9:08 AM
Nothing like an open mind, together with poor spelling to debate sensibly.
