Shania (of the Twain family) is pronounced "SHAN-yuh" and I won't hear otherwise.
I pronounce words like they are spelled regardless of me knowing the correct pronunciation or not. So when you hear me pronounce champagne like sham-pog-nuh, please know it is not a mistake, and that I deliberately mean to fuck with your head.
