I absolutely love being an artist! But having to constantly juggle “marketing” and “online presence” and “insert buzzword here” can feel kinda corrosive to the creative spirit. Hoping to take 2025 to readjust some of those priorities and fall back in love with creating again. #artist #rant #art

When I was younger I was really addicted to twitter but now I find I have no energy for any social media at all :/ I despise the general colonisation of our attention spans, but I also have to participate to y’know, be an artist. Sigh
