Yesterday, I took down this quarter’s show at the 1st National Bank of NWA, Bentonville. One of the exhibitors, Shira Fouste created this wonderful painting of friend and performer Shelly Watson. I bought the painting, Shira sold half her show that was on display.

Good Morning Moon: I took this photo of the Wolf Moon early this morning while it was in the western sky. According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, “The full moon is called the wolf moon because of the idea that during January's long, cold, and dark nights, wolves make sure everyone can hear them.”

My friend Stephanie shared this photo of my house. I stayed inside except for shoveling front steps & path to street so mailperson can get to mailbox just in case I get that rare personal piece of mail or check, I want the path cleared. I’m a “stay inside the house guy when winter weather hits.

Recently finished this 6x6 inch painting. It will be included in a silent auction, benefiting the Artists of Northwest Arkansas. The auction will take place during the opening reception for the annual Artists of NWA membership show, 4:30 to 8 p.m. at The Medium, 214 S Main St, Springdale, AR.

Watching the news brings tears to my eyes. I’m witnessing plans being made that will destroy our beloved country, our democracy. Hard to believe that many longtime members of congress are doing nothing to stop this. No honor. No morals. Hypocrites.
