Building community, shared skills and resources. Growing a substantial garden. Yes, chickens! (I’m too excited to have chickens) Root cellar and canning. And yes, sadly, we are in a significant downturn even if it doesn’t become world war.

Search functions are so degraded, over run by churned out AI garbage that is often wrong. I am so glad I no longer have a job that involves massive amounts of search.
What are your best tactics for handling it?

I only started looking into pain empathy as a real thing after reading The Parable of the Sower. It was wild to see a fictional character exhibit something I’ve never been able to get people to understand. Like 0%.
