got him to a place, than sprinted back, expecting no bus, guitar gone - but it was still there the bus, went in grabbed guitar like this is mine (locals are going hmmm)
I still have this guitar even now, well back in NZ now, its been around the world 4-5 times (well more now)

(memory coming back) I dont think it was KL we arrived but big city, halfway on looking for hostel to stay Im like "wheres my guitar, fuck left my guitar, on bus" I was really thinking about ditching him, I only know him for 4-5 days, my guitar has been around the world with me many times

Follow up words - Yeah I think it was Malaysia from west to east on main island. It was weird everyone was really sick, OK I don't get sick but these could hardly even walk, this girl I sorta had to hold her to shit, she only knew me like 3-4 days beforehand, she shat next to me (I didnt wipe her)

Ha - looked at that video, God I'm picking up speech phrases from my daughter like 'one time'. She always sez this, so much that I often say it back to her as a joke and now I'm using it myself in proper speech! Ha, oh well cool

Gonna create some new ones soon. All I want is Ruhe fur meine einsam herz. The last time I had that was in Tonga like 10 years ago, literally slept 10 hours in a night, on this island Eua, each night at least 8 hours sleep! Rest, sounds so stupid, but its the best thing

anyways. At first as a teen I just loved the music (the other 4 songs are pretty crap TBH) but that fifth even though I didn't understand german at the time really affected me, of course once I sorta understood german even more. Later I learnt its actually a chinese poem - To bring it round

Even as a teen it impacted me mainly for the music, mahler was a genius - fuck I remember listening to his 1st in the concertgebouw and trying to crack open a beer at the right time (end of first movement) and yes they did play the trumpets outside de saal (sp?), surprisingly small hall TBH

so I read that, and I was thinking about being in Val d'Aran spent some nights in the house of a friend up there, done some hiking, beautiful place, then I was thinking of that Mahler piec, Ich wandere in der berge ich suche ruhe fur mein einsam herz. Scuse misspellings

Oh yeah that second video, now I remember why I made it. IIRC I made I woke up at 4am or so read the news, chinese deaths in Ukraine etc and put my ramblings down then I read a message from my gf she had made during the night about a catalan newstory of a guy from val d'aran that went to Ukraine.
