Went to Jasper and Miette Hot Springs this last weekend. Absolutely no cell service except for the townsite. It was glorious. A forced digital break that was badly needed. I extended it for another day when I got home.

Mothers day picnic in Queen Elizabeth Park. My gift from my daughter, a lovely charcuterie tray made by Our Table in Edmonton. Fantastic Dragons Blood wine from BBB Honey was a perfect pairing.

Oh my heart breaks for you. It's been 3 weeks since I did last did this and my heart is still so sad. I said goodbye to my 3 musketeers this last year at different times and I miss them all so very much.

It's been a tough year but the Three Musketeers are all together again at the rainbow bridge. I miss them so much. The last one, Scruffy who is on the top right, passed away on January 22. I have one cat left, Sylly, short for Sylvester, and he is aging too so I am holding him close.

Bought a new carton of eggs yesterday and the kiddo called me to come look this morning as she was making scrambled eggs, both eggs she grabbed were double yoked. Maybe I should get a lottery ticket?
