Proud Yorkshireman who firmly believes that the majority of people on this planet want to live in peace with one another, despite the divisive tactics of the war-mongerong few.
Not necessarily, you do start to see a step change in the workmanship at several price points.

Of course if you just want to know what time it is then a sub-£20 Casio will never let you down...or just use your phone.

Tell me you have a Panasonic without telling me!

Exactly this. If I could go back in time to my 20s, the one bit of advice I would give to my younger self would be to slow down and enjoy the journey!

Had courtesy car for few days in summer & it didn't have adaptive cruise or lane keeping assist. Really struggled initially to drive on motorway as so used to having both. Made me realise how much of the work the car is usually doing for me.

For a £60k car to not have these is also a disgrace!

Glad I asked.

Thought it was going mad...

I bet you're a union member.

Same, except mine's got an electric log-effect fire with Wi-Fi. Works a treat for preheating the shed at this time of year.

Sounds like Steve could be a pain in the ass, for sure.

I think Brosnan's cheeky-chappy Bond was the best. Daniel Craig always looks miserable.

And as they used to say in Reading, you can lead a horse to water but a pencil must be lead.

As far as I'm aware, pretty much every motorway station charges for more than 2 hours stay.

Waste of a superpower as you could just perv outside bedroom windows of bungalows, like I do.

I've had my Oral B brush for 10 years and not had any issues. Battery needs charging more often but that's about the only degradation.

Generally depends on your employer. When my role was made redundant I was given a choice, either accept a reasonably generous package by signing a Compromise Agreement and effectively resigning, or put up a fight and be given Statutory.

I have a tablespoon of it in my porridge every morning, delicious!

Fessor clearly had a company phone which got given to their replacement.
In a previous role, I was recipient of someone else's phone. Tried my best to convince their kids school, and the garage where they got their car serviced, that I wasn't them. Neither believed me & continued to message/call me.

In the gym, last week, my friend (53m) and I (50m) were exchanging similar stories. He'd had a few days off as he'd strained his back getting up from the sofa, I almost pulled mine with an unexpected sneeze as I didn't have time to brace myself.

Growing old isn't fun!

They already are.

Similar for me when I graduated in 1999 with a degree in Electronics. ~120 people on the course and less than 5 got a 1st. Majority got a 2nd, quite a few with a 3rd, some with a Pass, and more fails than Firsts.
