So, according to Sussan, wind and solar don't need subsidies because they're cheap and people want them, so the money should be used to subsidise nuclear and coal instead, because they're not.
That's NOT being agnostic about energy...

Sussan Ley, questioned about her leadership

""I remember when a lot of blokes told me I couldn't fly an aeroplane..."

Because apparently she hasn't achieved anything in politics she can point to...

At the end of an email from Sussan:

'Ps. We need your help....Can you make a donation today to help us let Australians know about our policies?'

It's actually quite tempting... Labor should consider funding this.

Ley: "In 25 years' time, there will be technologies that we're not talking about today,"

Those technologies will be developed because of the drive to achieve Net Zero, not by abandoning it.

A few years ago, the LNP was telling us they could meet the Net Zero targets 'in a canter'.

Now they're admitting that they don't have the ability to do so at all.

I suppose they have lost a lot of talent since then....

What's the Liberals aim on energy prices?

How much are they going to lower prices, and how?

Oh, sorry - forgot.

They don't do targets.

So the process Tehan outlines in coming up with their policy consists of consulting all LNP MPs.
Not economists, not scientists, not even focus groups -- just internal discussions.

It's not that they do care. They want to attempt to show people that they care.

Liberal net zero decision unlikely to heal divide and could 'destroy' Ley
As Liberals descend on Canberra to settle a climate policy, conservatives and moderates remain opposed on the question of net zero, threatening a deeper rupture.

It's true, Net Zero might not be achievable by 2050.
But that's not a reason to drop that as a target.
A target is meant to make you try harder. You won't hit it every time, but a lower one means you won't try.
The bullseye isn't the only thing on the board

According to this article, 10,000 Australians (out of 27 million) live in tiny homes.
So why is the ABC continually pushing this type of accommodation? How is it 'balanced' to have so many articles on such a niche issue?
