to be clear the game is amazing and has made me feel things and think in a way a game hasn’t in a very long while, but man it’s pissing me off

it’s obtuse by “school-of-hollow knight-you-must-play-exactly-like-this” design. the “challenge” in each encounter is to figure out what set of arbitrary rules it entails and then contort your playstyle to overcome it. phenomenal game that’s let down by this
