You are not “going nonverbal” there is no such thing. You are having a verbal shutdown or an episode of losing speech. Actual Nonverbal people have been asking verbal people to stop using that. It takes away from our community. We ARE a community of people. Look and listen to our community.

I think people don’t realize how utterly hard it is to be a nonverbal autistic. Especially online. People think we’re fake, and it’s annoying. Nonverbal autistics are online.
