I am an English professor, so yes I am familiar with the origins of the language. However, you are assuming that language remains unchanged, and any linguist will tell you that is not the case. The English spoken in London is not superior to the English spoken in Mumbai. Unless you are racist.

It seems likely that they are bounty hunters paid either directly or indirectly by for-profit detention centers that get more tax payer money the more people they catch. They have every incentive to just kidnap anyone they can. It’s human trafficking.
