I wonder if the author missed some of the themes of the second and third season. The most cutting point to me was the cost of compassion. All the "good" characters sacrificed themselves to help others, while the evil characters were just complacent, and none of it made a difference.

I remember someone using really professional language while he was explaining why he pushed his husband to the ground in a fight, and that's when it clicked for me: politesse is about covering the cruelty of power in a vaneer of propriety.

I wonder about how much the language models used on keyboards affect online textual dialects. Like, I often mix up me/my on my phone keyboard because the model auto-"corrects" to the wrong thing.

Perhaps learning to read past this error in others causes me to internalize the error myself.

It's becoming clearer that anger against "woke" isn't some righteous brigade against propaganda; it's anger that American demographics are changing, and that the media is properly reflecting that.

I feel The Pitt tells a similar story. It's undeniably "woke", but that's just because it represents the actual lived experience of medical providers in the US.
