people are so afraid to look a little rough and are so willing to take the easy way out

but tbh, i think the rougher looking stuff will only shine brighter amongst the mismatched slop thats pretending to be 'good'

I was considering not doing achievements, as it'd be pretty worthless in my game other than giving out free candy

Thoughts like this creep in as I'm near the finish line

When I finished Cope Island after 5 years of dev, it was mindless anxiety. Ghostly Rose it felt almost like a breakup

This time, it's a sober feeling. Wiser. Knowing I gave it my all and that I won't stop doing this whether it succeeds or not

I could pay someone to do the art for me, but hey, that would take away so much from my kid.

I pride myself that I do this without taking out loans or putting strains on my family.

And despite it all, I do enjoy the feeling of getting better each time.

I've suffered many times already, but this time it was that vile Spiketail. I like had to memorize his pattern and change equipment mid fight often haha
