I have strong opinions about text files and I like taking photos.
We need something like folding@home but for volunteer CI hosting. If I could donate machine time to projects I support by just running a docker container or running a binary in a vm I would do it tomorrow.

I think thats a good idea, if you still wanted something to wrap and were pretty sure he’s going to want an fdm printer you could get a small spool of filament and wrap that along with an iou?

It’s also worth knowing what your brother will be printing. If it’s larger parts and mechanical assemblies and FDM (squirts out a plastic noodle) is the way to go since it’s cheaper to run for large parts. If he’s going to do figurines for a table top game or small high detail parts then go resin

I have an older Prusa mk3 that’s been pretty reliable, but the enclosures help a lot.

The post kinda reads like you were posting a Nikon vs OM images, it wasn’t until I reread the post and looked and the image watermarks that I realized the images are from you and your kid(?). I think maybe the OP had the same confusion?
