It's disgusting that this kind of behavior in the game industry is being normalized. It should. Especially from a company that’s been doing this as long as Nintendo has. Anyway, that's all I wanted to say. Agree or disagree, I just wanted to speak my peace. Take care.

And what’s sad is, I can see three major things they can do to regain a little trust, but we know they’re never gonna do it. Stop remote bricking people’s consoles, go back to the original Switch 1 cartridges, and keep the prices more consumer-friendly. Around $200-$250 USD.

A lot of people who know more about legal stuff talked about the lawsuits Nintendo’s been filing, but all I’ll say is that it’s great to see them backfire. Fly too close to the sun and you’ll get burned. Nintendo’s finding that out the hard way.

Nintendo bricking a system is also a major insult. They did not buy the individual units. The consumers did. They paid good money to use the system. It’s theirs to do as they like with it. Where did this mindset even come from? Their anti-modding stance? That’s just a common place in games. WTF man?

Well, if so, once those go down, which they will one day, those key cards are gonna be glorified dust collectors. How was this a good idea in the long run? Just have indie games on the eShop, or just physical copies with the data on the cartridges. It’s not that hard.

The key cards are a license to play the game, which is a fancy way to say ‘you have permission to play our game, but not own it.’ NINTENDO DIDN'T BUY THE GAMES!! THE CONSUMERS DID!! Also, if they download via the internet, where exactly are they downloading it from? A Nintendo server?

I originally didn’t want a Switch 2 because it was just a slightly bigger Switch 1 with a few bells and whistles. And after I heard about the keycards, and did a little digging, why did they think this was a good idea?

Trying to monopolize gaming patents, intimidating smaller companies that don’t have the same resources into collapsing, game keycards, bricking your Switch 2 because they can, and the obnoxious price hiking for everything. This is not a consumer-friendly policy.
