Leo thinks it is not ok that major institutions refuse to divulge basic information over use of automated decision-making algorithms when deciding questions over human rights @equalityhumanright.bsky.social @sarahowen.org.uk If it is too expensive to report then maybe it was too expensive to use.

Turns out it is too expensive to even indicate whether those guidelines exist. See the example of the types of permitted costs, NOTE that they claim a report already exists, but that the costs associated with reporting the most of guidelines is too expensive--

So I submitted a substantially narrowed FOI asking for only the most basic overview of information while awaiting a decision on the review request. Asking much more basic questions like, what guidelines existed for the use of AI? And if they don't exist, to indicate that directly.

that indeed, I was requestion information on both sets of consultations. Again, the information requested would have been standard in any professional report. These requests were rejected on Oct 21 on fee grounds after the maximal delay possible (and even an extension).
