I really liked this one! So many great additions like voice acting, better audio quality (wow, songs with vocals!), unique images for random events as well as some new ones!

My favorite little things were the visual day-night transition and that you can carry twice as much food back after hunting.

The visuals are definitely an improvement over the 1992 version and the voice acting is as goofy and of it's time as I hoped it'd be.

I also appreciate that all dialogue and tutorials have corresponding audio clips too.

Aside from one death (rip Narinder) and a few stolen oxen this was a pretty smooth playthrough overall. While I think it loses some of the charm of the 1985 game, this was still an enjoyable version in it's own right and feels a bit more accessible by modern standards.

a new day, a newer and prettier way to drown in a river
