Okay, I beat Silent Hill. Apparently I got a good ending? The final boss was pretty frustrating and I never want to go through that battle ever again, but besides that I did enjoy the game. Loved the puzzles, and the story reminded me of Persona 1 in some ways, so I thought that was pretty neat.

Okay, I finished the main story! Overall I thought it was a very satisfying ending. And that final shot... I don't want to spoil it, but I'm gonna be thinking about it and wondering what it all means for a long time.

Getting back to XBX and I finally finished Chapter 12. Can't believe the original game ended on a cliffhanger like that. I'm glad there is still more, but I now feel so bad for everyone who had to wait almost 10 years for the story to continue.

Kinda interesting how pretty much all of the manga I got 20+ years ago is turning yellow now, EXCEPT this Di Gi Charat book. Whatever kind of paper Broccoli Books used was seriously made to last.

Random fun fact, Viz later reused that Excel Saga DVD artwork for the English version of the manga. Also, if you look closely, Excel's hair was slightly edited to be more rounded on the DVD cover for some reason.

Some of the few DVDs I got in the early 2000s that survived to this day. I still love @koushirikudou.bsky.social's artwork on these covers. Also love how he kept Hyatt's brown hair, even though it was changed to blue in the anime.
