Unearthed part of the original cooking heath of our cottage. This one is low, deep and long - since it was where they cooked for over 100 years. It kept the other half of the house warm as well. First image shows where it is located in the dining area/ kitchen. The wall on the right.

The blue sky definitely helped lifting our spirits today. Can’t wait for Spring. This Winter is a rough one for some reason.

This passed year came and went in a heartbeat. Its tides rushed in relentless, wild, warm, soft, freezing, all that! At the end I asked myself: Do I ride around life like those people I smile about every Winter? Like snow was just invented? This rounds it up with a smile. Ella & Papa. Early Fall. NY
