Why is there no popular European social network?
It's certainly not a technical challenge. Marketing-wise, it seems like an EU brand would be at an enormous advantage, considering the lack of trust in US and Chinese institutions. Indeed, it seems like a big opportunity.

I think it might be, too. I'm sure if you look hard enough, there's someone out there who doesn't know how to open a garage door. But surely if this were reported on the news, they'd have immediately pointed out the obvious.
