Okay, sleeping on it helped some. There's ways to do this that aren't 20 seasons of Iron Chef or Hot Ones (no shade, I love both, but that feels too common for Iron Viz).

It's hard to put exactly into words how impactful that decision was. With how chaotic the day had been, being told "take your time and have some fun" immediately changed everything about the day, and ultimately the whole Convention.
