Check out this Alcantarea bromeliad in my yard. After blooming, the plant dies but it does send up small grass like plants. This one took about six years to bloom. The flowers smell like cinnamon. #tropicalflowers #bromiliad

Finished this watercolor of Mrs. ZaraZota and her French teacher when we were in Chartres last year. We had a picnic in the park after going to the market. Took a picture to paint. I am painting more people in settings. #watercolor, #traditionalart, #newart.

My newest watercolor called ‘For the Birds’. When we were in St. Martin, we went to a parrot sanctuary and these two landed on my shoulder. One on my hat, so I had to add the other parrots to round out the scene. My first, real portrait and it’s a selfie. #watercolor, #art, #portrait,
