The universe is within you.

Bright and beautiful.

Keep reminding yourself and myself that.

Ethereal. Serene.
Foggy mountain dawn.
I'm thankful for the tranquility
it brings to my soul.

The super full moon this morning looked tiny in the phone picture but my eyes could see it larger with all its details. It looked so beautiful framed by the red autumn maple tree at its peak color outside my balcony porch.

The last of the dahlias in November.

"Early nip of changeful autumn,
dahlias glimpsed through garden doves."

When fear is forcing you to give up, call upon your heart's courage to continue.

Come with me
into the field of sunflowers.
Their faces are all turned toward the sun,
they are holding it in their thin arms.
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?

Sometimes the shaft of morning sun shines through the trees just right.

Cue angel choir.

The only thing that can limit you
is believing that you are limited.
Become limitless.

How appropriate that on the eve of a super full moon I get a full moon in my capuccino 🌝

Good morning.
I love how that hazy and cloudy mountain side shows through the frame of the neighborhood trees.

So much life and possibilities in one little section the size of my hand.

The mushroom indicating a network of mycelium.

And two acorns starting to germinate looking for soil to anchor into.

You may walk by an not notice.

But up close the beauty of droplets is undeniable.

Let's get some uplifting pics going, or a so-so video of a fledgling begging for more sunflower seeds from parent goldfinch. I missed filming the harvesting sunflower seeds and the feeding as I hurry to pull out my phone. But I got the begging at the tree next to the sunflowers.

I think zines are coming back. 🙂

I'm had checked out a book from my local library about them a month or two ago. And I'm planning on making mine.

I started a Captain’s Log per se tracking factual things I did, or happened, and time, etc. It also has a section of what I received, money or free.

BTW, Notice how I framed my picture at a slant so the words of my writing on Zara's Log become out of focus. Looks like I need a new pencil too.

When bees bump into each other.

Two native bees, one large and one tiny, bump into each other at the local sunflower. Interesting how the larger one is the one that freaks out.

Figuring out my writing rythm hasn't been easy. Takes trial and error, because everyone is different. What works for one doesn't work for another. But I think I’m starting to figure it out. Turns out I’m more of an afternoon writer, with a classical radio station in the background.

I hope you get the funding you desperately need.

I wanted to comment on Stevie not taking his pills, which are cheaper. One thing I do with pills with my elderly cat Georgie is that I use a mortar & pestal and crush his pills and mix it with his food, or in a tasty treat.
