If you really want to fix things in America, start in your home town. Volunteer, protest, get involved in resistance against government bodies 🧊 harming your neighbours. Get involved in communities focused on changes. This is an individual journey you would need to undergo, but that's what it takes.

It's not enough to give a dollar to someone on a street corner. This doesnt address the source problem which is the system that keeps the money inside a small bubble and leaves everyone else unprotected from losing it all to mental health episodes, drugs, or disability.

It's not enough to not be an -ist or a -phobe. It's not enough to boycott. You need to actively resist the systems that marginalize certain groups. It's not enough to complain about your boss or company. You need to actively challenge harmful practices.

This about the amount of time it took to make those garbage plaques either saying the person loved him or they were the worst Presidents ever. It is tacky and egocentric, just like everything he's ever done including his buildings and branding.
