Fieldwork along the Ruembe River in Tanzania. Checking out how the survey sites, particularly the plants, have changed over the last ~1 year.
River habitats are incredibly diverse but heavily impacted by humans. Everything needs freshwater!

Great few days all about invasive species at the @bes-invasiongroup.bsky.social Meeting and GB Non-native Species Secretariat annual meeting in sunny Edinburgh.
Both meetings had delegates from policy, research and practitioner backgrounds which made for productive and purposeful discussions!

Back to back lectures and practicals today. Teaching students about plant diversity and reproduction. Can be tricky when most are interested in animals, but got some 'oooo' and 'aaaah' noises so..... winning?!
