Millennial studying tax law and economics in an attempt to prevent another 50 years of growing income inequality and hopefully reverse it.
It's sad but overwhelmingly evident that the only thing standing between us and a global age of completely free flowing information, including advanced education, is a handful of squabbling boomers afraid to give up their relative wealth position.

It's crazy how 7000+ years of accounting is being "debunked" by CEOs and a bunch of genius, godly politicians... Who would've thought that the monopolization of markets was the way to build a strong economy? And how they moved so many people from the middle class to poverty in just 30 years 🤯

Corporations being able to own large percentages of homes in urban areas where people are poor or homeless is no different than someone diverting large quantities of water to force people into extreme thirst and then selling the water back at 10x real market prices. #irs #doj #dhs #epsteineconomics

There needs to be a college accredited Onlyfans but for college lectures called OnlyProf. It would cut down on the overhead cost of college and allow teachers to earn more money in a competitive market while increasing the accessibility of a college degree.

We wouldn't be in this mess if Ticketmaster had just charged flat, nominal fees per ticket.

There needs to be an apprenticeship style equivalent to a Bachelor's degree because requiring someone to go $100,000+ into debt just to get a job that pays above basic QoL is a bootleg aristocratic system bound for economic failure.

Can we get a modern update to antitrust laws so someone can't buy all the people that stand in his way. It's disgusting how much he's been allowed to #monopolize the #market to the point that social media is basically dead and in a couple years we'll all just using online Meta billboard apps.

In a world where the second largest economy uses illegal subsidies and dumping, the best way to combat that is tariffs.

The use of tariffs to safeguard US industries is actually more favorable to the US consumer than any alternative. And while there's a small SR cost, it lowers LR debt ($36tril)

Using GDP as the sole indicator of economic strength without universal labor and environmental protection laws is like the 1990s MLB using HRs as the indicator for offensive utility without checking for steroids.

There's a big difference between a "most money back" guarantee and a "mathematically correct money back" guarantee and big box firms and national DIY tax softwares are kinda on the wrong side of the legal fence for that one

Long before the income tax was normalized in the US, our federal government was funded solely on tariffs and excise taxes. I understand not liking a president, but don't spread misinformation about an economic tool you don't understand to fuel a partisan fire.

Can all the local jurisdictions in PA and OH file a class action lawsuit against TurboTax for misleading consumers?

I can't believe how many people come to me with delinquent tax bills because TurboTax doesn't tell them they have to file a local return.
