Researching the dubbing of Hong Kong Kung Fu movies and chatgpt mentioned that Woody Allen dubbed his own voice in French and Italian releases despite not knowing the languages well. Very disappointed it was not true and now I really want to see those versions.

Happy Thanksgiving in America. Here is a time capsule of language and multilingualism from 1935. I think English as a lingua franca should be renamed Boobooptyboop. Also, I never realized how similar the character designs were for Betty Boop and おしりたんてい ('Butt Detective').
