Just another computer guy in Albuquerque. There are many like us, but this one is me.
I'm not a lawyer so someone help me out here: at what point does Xinis just declare a default judgement that Abrego Garcia win in all dimensions and is now the _new_ Attorney General, with the right to kill and eat Pam Bondi?

If one weren’t worried that their plans for the military broke any laws they wouldn’t react in such a way.

I think everyone already _intuitively_ knew conservatives and MAGA differ from each other far more than conservatives and liberals differ from each other, but it's nice to see a graph.

Ask for that spreadsheet! Explain it as helping to prevent us from incorrectly inferring a particular blacked-out name is Trump's. We wouldn't want to accidentally blame Trump for someone else's actions, of course! The FBI's list-of-Trump-references would help prevent such misunderstandings.

Whoa. Why does he think America is going after Trump, of all people? What does Gym know? Holy crap, might Trump be mixed up in this Epstein business!?!

Finally we get the STASI experience, instead of just reading about it in cold war novels and history books.

All the naysayers and conservatives said Trump's vision of turning America into something like Communist Eastern Europe would never happen, but here we are. Hate finds a way!

And there we go—Trump threatens ABC News:
Trump in response to an Epstein question: "ABC, your company, your crappy company is one of the perpetrators. I think the license should be taken away from ABC because your news is so fake and so wrong. And we have a great commissioner, a chairman, who should take a look at that."

Tsk tsk, don't just settle for the client list. We want the vendor list too!

Epstein was so jubilant to have nailed Melania before Trump did, but apparently only because that was such an exception. Trump ran the farm team for Epstein's major league, and I'm sure he got the earliest samples.

Jimmy Carter got _so_ flamed for suggesting people turn their thermostat down and wear a sweater, but as we transition to the more austere Trump economy, poverty is the mainstream expected norm. The next Dem president gets to Reagan the Republicans *and* their little 50 year mortgages too!

Someone remind me: how (I know _why_; I'm asking _how_) does an open investigation preclude releasing information, given that Congress (the same body that established the crime AND the court itself) is asking for the release?

Relax, everyone. Everything is just fine. Things are wonderful. BTW, this is an emergency...

Breathtakingly incompetent DoJ learns that In Soviet Russia, ham sandwich indicts YOU!

Looks like Trump is going to have to issue yet another pardon to one of his lawless attack dogs.

Why would Biden release them? Do presidents _normally_ release investigations' files when they take office? AFAIK the only reason the Epstein files are topical, is that Trump made it his campaign promise. Biden&Harris didn't. Trump did, but then 180ed once he was in office, Streisanding it.

Purchasing power, as in it takes 50 years to pay for a house instead of 30 years? You're right, it _is_ a good model for showing economic change.

If that's going to be Trump's defense, I say let the boy cook.

If the rule of law returns, are there any remedies for getting the stolen money back? I would think that even asking the DoJ for this money, shows premeditation to commit fraud. But I'm sure my not-being-a-lawyer is showing.
