yes i rewatched all 48 episodes while the new anime was airing. there's a lot that did not age well but omfg Nube is such a good man no wonder i was in love with him as a kid. Bari Bari Saikyou No. 1 still one of the greatest anime ops of all time OF ALL TIME 🗣️

while the 1996 version is still superior (it is what it is) i do appreciate that it's basically a *cleaner* version with all the 90's sins cleansed off from it lmao and Yukime is still so cute that's my girl!!!!!
