You can grab my mk iv from the Halo archive. The shins are already separated in that kind of way so it shouldn't take much adjustment to get that cool pieced and screwed in together look. Not to mention all the other public domain stories. Frankenstein, Dracula, War of the Worlds, and so many more that you can just go wild with. I'm doing some of that myself by making and selling CG Blender models of public domain characters.
